Khushal Awareness & Development Organization (KADO) is a not for profit and nongovernmental organization. Launched on 02-July-2002 by a group of volunteers, human rights activists, young community development professionals and concerned citizens. KADO is registered under Social welfare Act 1961.
The organization is engaged in advocacy, campaigning, community awareness, participatory community development and skill development of needy/poor community.

KADO Programs
Mobilization and Development
KADO team is engaged in the formation of the village groups and their capacity building using step by step approach. In this connection following individual and collective familiarisation meetings, planning meetings for the formation of village group / CBO/CCB are held. Social mapping, village poverty profile have completed and collective meetings are held for the preparation of village development plans after the formation of village groups.
 
Health & Hygiene
KADO rural water & sanitation project is engaged in organizing local communities, creating awareness among them on the issues of health, safe drinking water and sanitation through community meetings, seminars, workshops and Walks. KADO is playing a key role in creating awareness about the water born diseases in the rural as well as urban areas informing and educating the local communities about the water contamination and other water and health related issues.
 
Education
KADO team is engaged in the awareness to the local communities about the importance of the education. KADO is also working on the MDG's to achieve the universal primary education for the purpose KADO has arranged a walk regarding the importance of education in our society. Besides this KADO has established a numbers of community literacy centres for male/female.
