About KADO
Kohat Area Development Organization (KADO) is a not for profit and nongovernmental organization. Launched on 02-July-2002 by a group of volunteers, human rights activists, young community development professionals and concerned citizens. KADO is registered under Social welfare Act 1961.
The organization is engaged in advocacy, campaigning, community awareness, participatory community development and skill development of needy/poor community.
   
  KADO's Objectives
   
* To educate the deprived and under privileged common folk about the basic human rights and find basis to incorporate their efforts in mobilization to achieve maximum output.
   
   
* Buildings the capacities of the local communities/ Govt. and Non government organizations and skills development institutes with the focus on local female folk in the development initiatives.
   
   
* To organize and facilitate youth development activities/establishment of youth groups/networks and to engage them in activities related to achieve Millennium Development Goals at the local level.
   
   
* Assistance to CSOs, CBOs and VOs and Local Interest Groups is rendered to utilize and find projects to raise financial status particularly in women folk mobilization activities.
   
   
* To devise and organize activities for women, and children particularly to their rights to acquire education, improve health and earnings.
   
* Promote gender equality and empower women.
   
   
* To fight against HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases.
