| Mobilization and Development |
KADO team
is engaged in the formation of the village groups and their
capacity building using step by step approach. In this connection
following individual and collective familiarisation meetings,
planning meetings for the formation of village group / CBO/CCB
are held. Social mapping, village poverty profile have completed
and collective meetings are held for the preparation of village
development plans after the formation of village groups. |

| Health & Hygiene |
KADO rural water &
sanitation project is engaged in organizing local communities,
creating awareness among them on the issues of health, safe
drinking water and sanitation through community meetings,
seminars, workshops and Walks. KADO is playing a key role
in creating awareness about the water born diseases in the
rural as well as urban areas informing and educating the local
communities about the water contamination and other water
and health related issues. |

| Education |
KADO team is engaged in the awareness
to the local communities about the importance of the education.
KADO is also working on the MDG's to achieve the universal
primary education for the purpose KADO has arranged a walk
regarding the importance of education in our society. Besides
this KADO has established a numbers of community literacy
centres for male/female. |

Community Infrastructure Project:
KADO community infrastructure project seeks to communities
in the development of local level Infrastructure important
for the socio economic uplift of the communities. The communities
are encouraged to prepare local level infrastructe development
projects and plans with the technical support of other development
organization and TMA. The communities collect local level
contribution for the certain community share of project
cost (20% in shape of amount or labour) as to ensure their
owne the remaining cost is made available through grants from
the donors or local government. |

Gender & Youth Development:
KADO Gender & youth development program has been actively
mobilizing and organizing women and youth through the formation
of women and youth groups and building the capacities of those
groups. Youth resource centre has been established to mobilized
the youth against HIV/AIDS and other burning issues. |

| Awareness regarding CCB & LGO 2001 KADO
team has been strengthening the capacities of the elected
representatives of the local government systems. For the purpose,
a training program for the Nazims, N/Nazims and councilors
is running to develop their understanding about the local
government system and creating awareness about the CCB's,
facilitating the
formation of CCB's and organizational management, leadership
and project cycle management training to the office bearers
of the CCB's is also one of the key activities of the Organization.

Networking of CCB's/CBOs/VOs
Networking and alliance building is key to the success of
community and civil society endeavours. Networking provides
opportunities for learning from each other besides being an
important mechanism of joint support to any cause. KADO has
been actively engaged in developing networks of CCB's amongst
the communities, networking and linkages of the communities
with the government authorities and line departments as well
as with other civil society organizations. KADO is active
member of local, provincial, national and international networks
and also endeavours to develop and strengthen more and more
local level networks. |

| KADO Skill development Program
KADO has been launched "KADO skill development
Pro gram" To address the lack of women empowerment, women
skill and enterprise development centres specially
Women vocational centres have been established. Computer Center,
Beautician Courses, Mazri made products and English Language
centre is the part of KADO Skill Development program to develop
the educational and intellectuals skills of the Community.
Presently KADO run the following programs;
* Fatima Jinnah Computer Center.
* Newlook Beautician center.
* Mazri made handicrafts.
* Vocational Center. |
